My Early Present 3

This year’s is still notebook-related.

On one morning, I brought my notebook to Compaq Indonesia headquarters. “Everything was fine,” I told the customer service officer, “when suddenly it just stopped charging.”

“Do you bring the adapter with you?” he said.

“No. Can you check what’s wrong please?”

After saying “One minute,” he then grabbed an adapter of theirs, and plugged it into my notebook. Then I saw the charging-indicator light was on.

“Maybe your adapter is broken. You should’ve brought it so we can check too.”

“Ah, no need. How much would an AC adapter cost?”

He answered around Rp 500,000-700,000. Damn that’s a lot of money. So the next day, I decided to come to Ratu Plaza instead and bought this “universal notebook adapter” for only Rp 180,000.
